Shoes stolen in Tropika2
A shoe theft incident was reported last night affecting at least two residents of Tropika2.
The theft involved the perpetrator breaking into the compound of the house during before sunrise and taking a haul of shoes from the shoe cabinets usually at the porches of these houses.
the incident at jalan U8/73B was captured on CCTV and given to the local police. the incident happened at 4.59am and lasted 3 minutes. the perpetrator had short hair, moustache and perhaps around 5'7" tall.
several shoes - mainly sneakers / sport shoes, hush puppies - were taken. the perpetrator did not take any slippers / crocs.
action taken by committee
the committee has decided to place one of the three night guards at the inner section of Tropika2 facing the downhill to Tropika1 & 3 to allow for extra visibility of people entering the neighbourhood through other directions. nevertheless, this is merely an added deterrent and precaution.
residential unity and cooperation is still vital to stem these problems. such small cases must not be allowed to lead to bigger cases.
