My 3rd year anniversary
Salam and good day;
Proud to announce that I moved to Greenlane today back in 2006. A decision that I do not regret and I love the place.
However, few things that still bugs me;
1/ The design of the porch. Will change in one day.
2/ The lack of interaction of among the neighbors. Not as close knit as the early days.
3/ The internal walls have started to show surface crack. Deficiencies that were highlighted and repaired. No big issue though, just an eye sore.
4/ My middle top bathroom pipe had leaked and it had cost me RM2,000 to get it repaired. Going back to Sime Darby will be a total waste of time and will only increase my blood pressure. Apologise to our neighbors who are working with Sime Darby. That's the truth.
5/ The timber plank on the roof coating had peeled off again. Again, something that I've covered in the Deficiency List and reappear again.
6/ Security participation
7/ Lack of neighborhood meeting on issues. However, whenever meetings were held, less than 10 appeared - the same old faces.
I can only continue to pray that things will improve.
Some hadtihs on neighbors as compiled by Imam Bukhari for everyone's knowledge.
Narrated 'Aisha: The Prophet said "Gabriel continued to recommend me about treating the neighbors Kindly and politely so much so that I thought he would order me to make them as my heirs.
Narrated Abu Shuraih Al-Adawi: My ears heard and my eyes saw the Prophet when he spoke, "Anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day, should serve his neighbor generously, and anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should serve his guest generously by giving him his reward." It was asked. "What is his reward, O Allah's Apostle?" He said, "(To be entertained generously) for a day and a night with high quality of food and the guest has the right to be entertained for three days (with ordinary food) and if he stays longer, what he will be provided with will be regarded as Sadaqa (a charitable gift). And anybody who believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quite (i.e. abstain from all kinds of dirty and evil talks)."
Narrated 'Aisha: I said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have two neighbors! To whom shall I send my gifts?" He said, "To the one whose gate in nearer to you."
happy anniversary.
can wait for neighbourly open houses when the time comes ...
