Barb Wires
I do know a few residents have already noticed that SimeDarby Properties have put up a new fence as well as barb wires on the slope facing the side of U8/75. See attached file for photos.
This is very encouraging and I hope that ALL residents will do our part (whether collectively or individually) in trying to ensure that security in our Greenlane is kept on our top priority list. I am sure that most of us are aware of the recent break ins and attempted break ins within Bukit Jelutong area, I dont think we can afford to relax.
I just hope SimeDarby Properties can extend the barb wires to areas covering the back slope facing the back laners. We have already got in the 3 street lights at the back ... Let us work together to achieve this and more.

Jessie.... I shook my head in disbelieve when I saw the barb wires. Even my kids can jump over it. It was one of our proposal to beef up the security as mentioned by Simon. However, I wish Sime Darby Property's personnel referred to us first when they plan to do anything. Capt Malik also went to inspect the area and he also shares the same opinion with us.
I plan to spray poison on the tree stumps on the hill near my house. It will damage the new fence once they start to grow again.
The moral of the story is, our petitions do bear fruits even though I've been critised for being aggressive. I am not looking for glamour but just to make sure that our community is safe. I plan to stay here for a very, very long time, insyaallah.
