Chap 4: Committee communication messages

As some of you must hv observed, our usual guards are missing starting from 0800 hours today. This is due to fee collection problem that we're facing. I'll get the details from Chief asap and will publish in this website.

The committee has decided to engage 2 Gurkha guards to be stationed right in the middle of Greenlane. We feel that the car stickers do not work as the guards encountered some rude residents while manning the check point. The guards will now be stationed from 8 pm to 8 am and the fee has been slashed to RM 50. A lot of us had complained that the RM 100 monthly fee was too high, we'll see the non participants responses this time.

The guards will be patrolling as usual but will concentrate on the houses with tags. We are planning to get additional tags at the rear too as we feel the guards need to patrol the back lane too. I am not happy with this current arrangement as we hv compromised our security due to some inconsiderate residents but that's life. Even Tunku Abdul Rahman, our Bapa Kemerdekaan, faced more complex situation getting all the races to agree on conditions for independence. My advise, pls be more vigilant during the day and look after our neighbours place when they are at work.
